With a new website and new branding these are exciting times for the On The Up brand. Making the decision to level up and invest in a whole new corporate look was a bold decision, but definitely the right one. To be honest we were hiding, being a little too shy about being ready to shine. Thankfully a couple of super clever people got to work on revitalising our website and branding.
I knew we were ready, I knew we had to shape up
I am lucky enough to know the amazingly creative and all -round good guy Andy Thelwell from tcreative, he was my ‘go-to’ guy for snazzy graphics when I was Marketing Director at Helly Hansen UK Ltd and he is a great friend too. There I was, on the phone to Andy a few months ago, happily chatting about the ups and downs of being an entrepreneur and bouncing around ideas for my new Shine Game artwork, when Andy did a little google search for On The Up. On finding my website and the golden pebbles logo appear in front of him, he exclaimed, “Oh, dear oh dear Julia. What are you thinking? This is not you! It is not dynamic enough! What will your clients think?” Well, that was feedback that was a little hard to hear, but totally fair and to be honest half expected. Our company has grown quicker than I had imagined and already the website looked outdated and made me cringe. I knew we were ready, I knew we had to shape up.
Positive, inspiring, uplifting and enlightening
A few brand consultation sessions later, a few random pictures of colours from Katy Perry concert backdrops and ta da! A new logo from tcreative that really reflects what people say about our sessions; ‘positive, inspiring, uplifting and enlightening!’ This new logo paved the way for the lovely people at Nettl of Stockport in Heaton Moor to do just what they promised… ‘to create me a website of my dreams’. Toby has wielded his artistic abilities and technological insight to produce this site, I hope you like it as much as we do. Personally, I am chuffed to bits.
Who can see the potential in what you do and help you take it to the next level?
It is good to be around people who can see the potential in what you do and help you take it to the next level. That is what we do at On The Up and we also know how great it is when we have people supporting us too, helping us take the next steps to grow.
